Porringer Top Tea Table

Circa 1750-1770

This 18th century style Queen Anne table, described as an American masterpiece, displays a beautiful rectangular shaped top with porridge-bowl-like corners. The porridge-bowl-like corners may have been described as scalloped in the eighteenth century. This Porringer Top Tea Table is accentuated by the shaped apron sides that are met by the graceful cabriole legs with pad feet. Small tables such as the Porringer Top Tea Table were portable and served many purposes.
